This position will work closely with the Telecom and IT divisions with oversight and support provided by our Sales Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility

New Business

  • Seek out new business/leads
  • Qualify leads (initial meetings, budgets, needs, current Telecom and IT provider woes, etc.)
  • Work with Technical Team to assess and propose solution (MSP + Hardware)
  • Finalize sale (proposal/contract) and initiate onboarding activities
  • Ensure all relevant information is documented to assist with close
  • Ensure customer management software is updated
  • Meet and/or exceed targets/expectations
  • Market on social media platforms to build personal brand

Account Management

  • Develop, grow, and maintain relationship with new and existing accounts
  • Advise on and quote new opportunities (IT, telecom, etc.)
  • Advise on antiquated technology (EOL, EOS) and propose action plan to replace
  • Handle all quoting/sales (projects, hardware, software) for assigned accounts
  • Perform quality assurance checks, IT report cards, and review meetings with customers
  • Provide budgets for IT infrastructure over 3-5 years (hardware refresh, license renewals, etc.)
  • Negotiate new contracts prior to anniversary date
  • Ensure customer retention (keep the competition away)
  • Meet and/or exceed targets/expectations
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required

Requested Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor or higher education is preferred
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in sales
  • Well-developed business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building capabilities
  • Pragmatic, approachable, and comfortable in facilitating win-win outcomes
  • A daily focus on exceptional customer service and support
  • Proven experience in a B2B and B2C sales environment, with two or more years preferred
  • Product knowledge in Telecom, Managed Services, and Software Development is not required but is an asset
  • Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills in a sales focused environment
  • Agile mindset, both willing and able to adapt and pivot in a fast-paced work environment
  • Being proactive and goal-oriented
  • Being able to work independently with minimal supervision

Base salary will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience plus a commission structure. Employment includes extended Employee Health Benefits Package.
