Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Respond to service calls quickly and within the expected timeframe.
  • Conduct all repairs and installations to code.
  • Install feeders.
  • Wire and conduit sizing.
  • Switchgear and device installation and termination.
  • Layout and preparation for installation.
  • Underground layout and rough-in.
  • Perform routine maintenance on various systems as and when requested.
  • Interpret technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical service systems.
  • Installation of conduit and tray work.
  • Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members of the site.
  • Promote and Maintain safety standards.
  • Complete and maintain paperwork.
  • Network cabling cat5e/6 including terminating and testing.
  • Fully comprehends Electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electric Code.
  • Participate in industry training provided by our partners.
  • Travel on projects will be a requirement on an “as needed” basis.
  • Informing manager of recurring problems.
  • Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
  • Managing Client expectations and deliver above and beyond; Doing what it takes.

Qualifications

  • Highly comfortable in interacting with others, of varying personalities, on the phone and in-person
  • Adaptable and open to constant priority changes
  • Calm and collected disposition because there will be pressure and difficult situations
  • Construction Electrician certification
  • Voice/Data cabling an asset
  • Willing and able to work regular office hours plus overtime as and when required.

Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience. Employment includes extended Employee Health Benefits Package and membership in our company profit-sharing plan.
