We currently have multiple positions open spread across our main office locations. Positions are open in Kelowna, Kamloops, Penticton, and Vernon.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Resolving technical support issues (related to servers, applications, networking, backups, security, etc.); escalating where appropriate to other team members
  • Providing remote support and on-site support
  • Following standard operating procedures as much as possible and helping create new procedures for newly identified resolutions
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client networks, resolved issues, and client information
  • Communicating tickets status and updates directly to clients
  • Providing technical support to the organization’s internal users of computer applications and hardware
  • Participating in team and company meetings to help ensure the success of the team and organization
  • Working with management to layout a training plan to help move your career forward
  • Being willing to work flexible hours when required to meet client deadlines and participating in the rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

  • Highly comfortable in interacting with others, of varying personalities, on the phone and in-person
  • Adaptable and open to constant priority changes
  • Calm and collected disposition because there will be pressure and difficult situations
  • Microsoft, Cisco, and CompTIA A+ certifications are assets
  • Willing and able to work regular office hours plus join rotating on-call schedule
  • 2+ years working in Desktop (end-user) Support
  • 2+ years working in a Network Admin or Network Support capacity
  • Microsoft Certification (preferred, please detail your certifications)
  • Knowledge of MS Server 2003, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2019 (SBS, Exchange, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience in all versions of Windows (please list experience).
  • Experience in OSX is an asset
  • Experience in business applications is an asset (please list experience)
  • Experience supporting virtualization (ideally Hyper-V and VMware) is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with network security appliances is an asset
  • Transportation (your own vehicle) as the job will require travel to and from client sites. Compensation for mileage included.
